Position: Horticulture Operations Manager 

Queenstown | Senior Horticultural Leadership Role 

Location: Queenstown / Wanaka

Hours: Full Time / 40 Hours per week

Groundswell Landscaping are seeking an experienced horticultural leader to help drive the business through its next stage of growth. 

This senior, hands-on role is based predominantly in Queenstown, working across high-end residential properties. The successful candidate will lead a small maintenance team, uphold premium garden standards, support client relationships and contribute to the continued development of the business. 

 What we are looking for:

• Experience leading small teams, with 5+ years preferred 

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in horticulture, gardening or landscape maintenance 

• Diploma or Level 4 horticulture qualification 

• Growsafe certification, or equivalent 

• Proven experience managing high-end gardens and residential properties 

• Strong lawn and turf management experience 

• Strong communication, reporting and technology skills 

• Sound business acumen and commercial awareness 

• Full, clean manual driver’s licence

• $100,000 – $140,000 salary
