Driveway construction labourer

Position: Driveway Construction Labourer

Location: Cromwell

Hours: Full Time (40-50hrs p/w) (30hr p/w during winter season - May till Sept) Permanent, seasonal & casual positions available.

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: Experienced:$35–$45 per hour Trainee: from $27 per hour

Central Chip Seal are offering opportunities for people who enjoy physical work within a small, down-to-earth team.  Whether you are looking to learn new skills or are an experienced chip seal operator there’s a role for you.

With opportunities for permanent work or to enjoy working outdoors for the summer season, or even in a casual capacity there’s an option for you.

The job will involve:

• Chip sealing driveways & carrying out repairs

• Operating rollers, diggers and other machinery

• Supporting with other general labouring

• Working mostly in Central Otago, with some travel

Ideally you will have:

• A full, manual drivers licence

• A good sense of humour

• A strong work ethic

What would be nice (but still get in touch if you don’t have it!):

• Class 2 license

• Wheels, Tracks and Rollers License

• If you don’t hold these, we are happy to support you in acquiring them.
